The biggest story of the offseason was the hilarious but troubling saga surrounding DeAndre Jordan, the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Clippers.  Jordan verbally committed to the Mavericks but had second thoughts as the moratorium wore on and ultimately re-signed with the Clippers in dramatic fashion after the players and coach Doc Rivers staged a sit in at his house. Jordan took a lot of heat for not reaching out directly to Mavs owner Mark Cuban. Jordan apologized on Twitter, Cuban would have none of it. Now Jordan is telling his side of the story directly.


NBA: Chris Paul Talks About the Reported Rift Between Him & DeAndre Jordan

While reports indicated that a rift between Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan played a role in the center agreeing to sign a free-agent deal with the Dallas Mavericks before ultimately re-upping with the Los Angeles Clippers, Paul said that it “doesn’t matter” what people say, and that he’s “unbelievably happy” to have him back.
