NBA: What We’ve Been Waiting For! Chris Paul Responds To Racist Comments From Donald Sterling

It isn’t quite the reaction we were all probably hoping for from Chris Paul, but it is still something. Once everyone around the basketball world got a grip of what Clippers owner Donald Sterling said in his racist rant, one of the first people everyone wanted to hear from was Chris Paul. Obviously Chris is black, but it was more so because he is the leader of that team on the court and president of the players association and fans have been wondering what was he feeling about Sterling’s comments. We have to be realistic as fans that guys like Chris Paul, coach Doc Rivers and others affiliated with the team probably can’t say everything they feel because technically Sterling is still their boss and signs their paychecks. Hit the jump for Chris Paul’s statement.

I guess you know the State Farm marketing campaign with Chris Paul is going well if even his coach gets confused about what guy plays for his team. After the Clippers win last night, Coach Doc Rivers had a press conference where he slips and refers to Cliff playing in the game, lol. He corrected himself quickly, but still funny.

(Video) NBA: Chris Paul Throws it Off the Backboard to DeAndre For the Slam Dunk!

I posted a video earlier of J.R Smith off the backboard to Amare Stoudemire but this is how the play really should be done.  Chris Paul made the steal and it was a two-on-none fast break, so Paul went off the backboard to DeAndre Jordan for the slam.  The Clippers always put on a show.
