Chief Keef had yet again gotten himself into some trouble with his probation officer. The “I Don’t Like” rapper had moved from one neighborhood to another without letting his PO know ahead of time. Well, he went to court for it and the judge says that Keef will not be doing any jail time. Yet another legal issue in the life of Chief Keef. The Chicago rapper is already in trouble with the court system from violating his parole with various situations he’d found himself in earlier this year, and now something positive he actually tried to do has him in even more trouble. Moving from a bad area of his old neighborhood to a better one nearby ended up as yet another violation of his probation, as he was not supposed to make any moves without alerting his probation officers ahead of time. I’m sad to report yet another upcoming rapper has lost his life, and it looks like it’s stemming from the same beef another upcomer, Lil Jojo, lost his life from earlier this year. Joshua “JayWood” Davis was an aspiring rapper from the West Englewood area of the Chi, and he was shot and killed early this morning. His sister believes it’s because of his Lil Jojo hoodie! Edward McClelland, blogged about his distaste for Chief Keef and the way he, as well as his possible gang affiliation has turned the NBC blogger away for the music he raps on. Some are saying that the piece was racist. I read the article and I THINK NOT. I’m NOT a big fan of Keef, and don’t get me wrong when I heard “I Don’t Like,” I blasted the song, however he does represent violence. In this industry your negative actions has the ability to deter someone away from what could be your GREAT talent. That’s how I believe McClelland looked at it, when he wrote this article. “I don’t want to support a scene that makes gangbanging a resume builder for music success,” McClelland said. Entertainment Weekly has announced their best of 2012 lists! At the top of the album list is Frank Ocean with his debut album, Channel Orange. Two rappers were listed as having the worst albums of the year. Songs by Fat Joe, Chris Brown, ScHoolBoy Q, Kanye West, Chief Keef, Macklemore, Solange, and Meek Mill were also listed for Best or Worst songs or albums of this year.
