Gladys Knight has been at odds with her son for some time now, after the Georgia Dept of Revenue raided all three locations of her Chicken and Waffles restaurants, because they believed her son, who was running the chain, embezzled up to $1 million. Gladys filed a suit to remove her name and likeness from all signs and promotions from the restaurants, and to have all her memorabilia adorning the restaurants returned to her. It first appeared that her son was going to give her a hard time, but now reports say that they have reached a settlement.

Uncle Snoop may have just saved the day. Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles have just declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy. To keep them from shutting down, Snoop says he just may invest into buying the joint. When asked by TMZ how he felt about it, he had no idea. His response was pretty much “just throw it in the bag.I got it.”

Gladys Knight’s Chicken and Waffles resturant has failed inspection after receiving a 56 out of 100. Yikes! The resturant is located on Peachtree Street in Atlanta, Georgia. The inspectors of Fulton County found 15 other violations on this resturant. Im sorry Gladys. I will not be there anytime soon.
