Cortez Bryant, Lil Wayne’s manager got a chance to stop by ‘Rap Radar’ where he spoke on Wayne’s issues with Cash Money. Bryant reveals that ‘Tha Carter V’ was actually suppose to drop on Google for free but Birdman was the reason that that did not happen.
So, Young Thug sat down with No Days Off radio for nothing short of a … very unique interview. The “Spaghetti Factory” rapper talks upcoming collaborations with his fianceé Jerrika Karlae, distancing himself from Rich Gang – because he was never signed in the first place – and his upcoming projects, which include another mixtape before his album drops. RapUp TV recently caughy up with ATL rapper-producer B.o.B. who opened up about working on his new project amongst some other topics. He explained that with the exception of his current single “Not For Long” featuring R&B crooner Trey Songz, he is producing all the rest of his music , which also applies to his official fourth studio album in 2015. It’s been a whole month since we’ve gotten a new installment of Lil Wayne’s weekly ‘Weezy Wednesday’ series, BUT he’s been busy on tour with Drake, so I guess he gets a pass. As we get closer to Tha Carter V‘s release date on October 28, Tunechi is back with episode 24, and this time provides a brief trailer for his Drake-assisted single “Grindin’,” revealing when we can expect the official video. What I liked most about Wayne going on SportsCenter was you could tell his freestyle literally was off the top of his head and he didn’t go in there with some written material. After making an appearance on the show to reveal the cover art for the Carter V, he dropped some bars over the SportsCenter anthem and made it sound decent. Weezy has always been a big sports fan so him going on the network to promote the album was a no brainer.
