One of his biggest and most die-hard fans, a 17-year-old girl named Zakiyyah Elzy from Arizona, unfortunately lost her life in a fatal car accident last week. After she was taken off of life support on Tuesday night, the Compton OG made the trip to Arizona to comfort her family and pay his respects to his fan’s memorial site. According to her friends and family, her #1 dream was to meet YG. Her friends even created a #YGtoAZ hashtag with hopes that the “Who Do You Love?” rapper would actually make his way to Arizona. Luckily for them, he did without any hesitation. The Bompton emcee said that he kept getting tweets and Instagram notifications from all of Zakiyyah’s friends, which was the ultimate factor in him deciding to come. When he arrived to Arizona, he visited the family’s home of the deceased young lady and then headed over to her memorial to pay his respects. He rocked a #KiaGang tee and posted up pics via his social media page both at her memorial and in her room. “Her mom and them told me she was trying to go to UCLA. It’s sad,” YG told a news reporter. “That’s my guardian angel now.”
