Bobby Shmurda Could Face An Additional Seven Years After His “Girlfriend” Smuggled In Contraband
Bobby Shmurda has been sitting in jail for over seven months now and is facing multiple weapons and drugs charges. He’s already turned down his plea deal, so could potentially be facing up to 25 years in prison. His trial is set for October, but it looks like thing could be getting worse for the rapper after his so-called “girlfriend” smuggled a shank into the prison. Turns Out – That Girl Charged For Smuggling A Shank To Bobby Shmurda Is NOT His GF…She’s Just A Fan!
Well this is an interesting turn of events. As you know, an 18-year-old girl by the name of Kimberly Rousseau has been hit with 3 charges and is facing up to 7 years in jail after being caught trying to smuggle in a shank to Bobby Shmurda while he’s serving his bid at Rikers Island. Up until now, all media outlets have been referring to Kim as his longtime girlfriend, but new developments in the case say she’s not that at all – but yet a “random fan who was able to gain access to Shmurda during visitation.” LMAO! This is coming from Bobby’s camp, so either they’re trying to say that he didn’t know the girl at all and didn’t know she’d be handing him a weapon (so as to say he’s innocent) or just to clarify that he’s not with this girl and she’s just trying to get on his good side by doing things for him. Either way, this story is nuts!
Bobby Shmurda’s Girlfriend Pleads Not Guilty To Smuggling Contraband
Bobby Shmurda’s 18-year-old girlfriend, Kimberly Rousseau, was arrested alongside the rapper back in June, when a guard caught her “pull a black latex glove balloon wrapped in black electrical tape out of her bra and hand it to him.” She faces up to 7 years behind bars if convicted on all charges – which include two counts of promoting prison contraband, and one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. She appeared in court this week, however, and has pled not guilty to everything. Her case has been pushed back to October 13, and they are currently trying to work out a plea deal. Looks like after seven months of sitting in a jail cell, someone is coming to the rescue of Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda. He’s currently behind bars facing murder, weapons and conspiracy charges.
