Brooklyn rapper Joey Bada$$ recently traveled down to St. Lucia to shoot the visuals to his track, “My Yout.” In the behind the scenes look below, Joey speaks about his time on the island, meeting the locals, and gets introduced to his grandfather for the first time.
Last night was literally a who’s who of some of the biggest names in entertainment as Drake’s ‘Would You Like A Tour’ show rolled through The Staples Center in Los Angeles. Aside from sightings like Birdman, Wiz Khalifa and Snoop, other big names in the building spoke loudly to rumors surrounding the Nothing Was The Same rapper. As you may have heard, word on the street for months is that there was a rift between Drizzy and his Young Money labelmate Nicki Minaj, but not only was she spotted taking in the show, she was also a special guest on stage! Also in attendance was Rihanna, so clearly there’s no bad blood after photos hit of Drake allegedly having an ‘intimate night‘ with Zoe Kravitz. Drake and Rih have been said to be rekindling their past romance as of late, and this only speaks to that even more. Also spotted was Jaden Smith, who as we know from the VMAs is a HUGE Drake fan, so that’s super cute he got to attend. Check out more pics in the gallery with Tyga, Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner and more!
Out in Eminem’s hometown of Detroit today, the legendary rapper began shooting the video to his latest collab with Rihanna, “The Monster.” Little is known about the video other than that it’s under the direction of Rich Lee, but judging by the few photos available, it looks like they’re going for a darker/edgier theme. Can’t wait to see the final outcome!
Just one day after releasing the powerful visual for “Swing Life Away,” Machine Gun Kelly is back to work on yet another video off his Black Flag project. The Bad Boy rapper was joined by Taylor Gang’s own Wiz Khalifa out in California today for the video to their collab, “Mind Of A Stoner.” Taking to Instagram, Kels and Slim Gudz shared some images from the set, which appears to be a Hollywood backlot of some sort. Weed, women and fly wheels all appeared in the photos; the perfect recipe for the catchy song’s visual. In between shooting videos and doing shows around the globe, MGK has been back in the studio as of late to work on the follow up to his 2012 debut album, Lace Up. “This next album will be a great one,” the Cleveland native recently said. “I can feel it. Thank you guys for all your continued support, let’s make history.” Can’t wait to hear!
Rihanna put out her album Unapologetic a year ago this month, but the Bad Gal is still releasing singles off the project. Next up is the heartbreaking ballad “What Now,” of which she rocked quite a gothic look for the visual. Go behind the scenes on set below. Video coming Friday.
