This long-hoped-for action represented a major step forward in the status of African-Americans in the Navy and in American society. The twelve commissioned officers, and a warrant officer who received his rank at the same time, came to be known as the “Golden Thirteen.”

Suge Knight actually gets offended when people call him African American, because he’s NOT African. But he does admit that he doesn’t have a problem with the word, “Ni**a.” Knight claims it’s offensive to label all Black people African American. And he even goes on to saying that he thinks it’s ridiculous that only rappers can use the word, “Ni**a.” He thinks if it can be used by some, it should be used by all. Do you agree?!

LOL! Paula Deen Is Doing The Suing Now?!
This is a new interesting detail! Lisa Jackson, the former manager of Uncle Bubba’s Seafood and Oyster House is the pretty much the reason that Paula Deen has NO Pots on shelves now. Jackson is suing for racial harassment, claiming that she has African American ties (don’t we all?).
