NFL: Aaron Hernandez Scores Small Win In Court, Makes Job Harder For Prosecutor

Prosecutors in a murder case against Aaron Hernandez won’t be allowed to tell a jury about two other killings with which the ex-New England Patriot is charged or the final text messages the victim sent to his sister, a judge ruled Friday. This is a big deal because now they have to use other evidence or other means to try and prove his guilt in the murder of Odin Lloyd. They wanted to show the jury how they felt the crimes were related to each other and now they can not.

This could potentially be a big win for Aaron Hernandez as he prepares for his murder trial to get underway in a few months. A judge ruled yesterday that certain evidence that police feel definitely link the former Patriots star to the murder of Odin Lloyd, as well as possible other murders, would not be allowed to be used against him.
