When Lil Wayne was in his prime during 2005-2009 let’s say, he arguably could not be touched on any verse or on any beat. That was a different era for hip-hop…a lot of artists that are considered OG’s now were as well putting their signature stamps on the game like Kanye West, Jeezy, etc. etc. Well hot off the release of his collaborative album with Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz speaks on the what it was like going in the studio and collabing for a full length LP, “Collegrove“, with one of the best to hit the booth. While doing a interview on The Cruz Show, with Los Angeles’ Power 106, rapper 2 Chainz made a statement that he believes rappers these days are awkward when it comes to making a initial connection. Chainz also got a chance to speak on who he would like to work with in the industry, and his new joint album he just released with Lil Wayne.


Bryson Tiller, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Usher + More Tapped For 2016 BET Experience

Every year, the BET Awards get bigger and better. In recent years, the one-night program has evolved into an entire weekend of festivities, and this year, it will be headlined by superstars Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Usher and Bryson Tiller. The four-day event goes down June 23-26 at L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles. Thursday will feature a stand-up set from Katt Williams and Mike Epps, Friday will feature performance from Usher and Bryson Tiller, Saturday will be all about ColleGrove with Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz, and it will all be capped off with the 2016 BET Awards on Sunday, June 26. There will be tons of fun events sprinkled in between as well, with more info soon to be announced.
