On September 24, Chance The Rapper will be bringing his first annual festival to his hometown of Chicago. The Magnificent Coloring Day Festival will go down at U.S. Cellular Field (aka where the Chicago White Sox play) and will feature some big names like Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Alicia Keys, John Legend and more.

2 Chainz is putting another power move under his belt. The rapper is opening a new restaurant and lounge in his hometown of Atlanta, announcing it on Instagram over the weekend. “So I think it’s time i let y’all in on my newest venture as an entrepreneur this spot is called @escobarlounge my first club/lounge in the city of Atlanta off Peter St,” he wrote. “#GodisGood …will be given opportunities and hiring reliable employees in the near future 1love 2Chainz.”
Lil Wayne Announces Second Annual Lil Weezyana Fest
Lil Wayne will return to his hometown of New Orleans for the second annual Lil Weezyana Fest this year. Last year, the Young Money rapper kicked off with the inaugural event (coinciding with the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina,) and it featured a Hot Boys reunion, as well as performances from Drake and another New Orleans star, August Alsina. This year, Weezy will continue with the ColleGrove kick he’s been on this year, and will be joined by 2 Chainz when the show goes down on Saturday, August 27. Other artists are expected to be announced soon as well.
