Even though Matt Ryan has not been able to get the Falcons to the Super Bowl yet, he is sure being paid like he did. He agreed to a 5 year contract extension, worth $103 million dollars, with $59 million of that guaranteed! Teams have been throwing money at quarterbacks the past few seasons. Seems anytime a star quarterback gets a new deal, the next one gets an even better contract. Ryan is definitely deserving, coming off the best season of his career. Instagram Reaches 100 Million Users
Instagram finally did it but they finally surpassed the 100 million memember mark. Instagram announced the feat earlier today, after being accessible for the last 2 years. Not sure if thats a long time or short time for a social media network to amass that accounts. Even though the company had a rough time in December after it was announced they would be retooling their privacy policy. Since then the company has revised back to the old policy. “We had a sense that maybe through Instagram we could tune in to what was happening just a few steps away,” Systrom wrote. “With a few quick commands at his terminal, my co-founder Mike [Krieger’s] screen filled with images of the game: the bullpen, dugout, concession stands, cheering fans and a panoramic view from somewhere up high.”
Lawyer Wants To Sue Connecticut For HOW Much Because Of Newtown Shooting?!
Attorney, Irving Pinsky, wants to sue the state of Connecticut on behalf of one of the Newtown, CT survivors he calls “Jill Doe.” Pinksy claims “Jane Doe,” who is 6-years-old, heard violence and screams over the intercom after it was accidentally turned on during the Adam Lanza massacre. He claims that she experienced “emotional and psychological trauma and injury” during the incident. Pinsky wants to go after the state for a HUGE amount of money saying that the school needs a better security system. So instead of doing everything he can to ensure the security systems are but into place, he decides to sue the state that could very well help with security systems? CEO Pleads Guilty In $100 Million Embezzlement Scheme
Russell Wasendorf Sr., former CEO of Peregrine Financial Group, has pleaded guilty to embezzling more than $100 million from customers for his futures brokerage, lying to investigators to cover his tracks, and mail fraud. Wasendorf agreed to plea guilty earlier this month and thought he would be freed from jail pending his sentencing.
