(Pictures) Jeff Koon Exhibit Opens Today In NYC!
The Superstar Artist Jeff Koon has found a place to fit almost all of his phenomenal pieces under one roof. He has dubbed the Exhibit “The Jeff Koons Retrospective,” and it will be shown at the Whitney in NYC from today, June 27th, to October 19th (Showing his work from 1978 through 2014)! So you have plenty of time to catch it. Check out the gallery to see his famous piece: Michael Jackson and Bubbles, originally priced at $250,000 in 1988, and sold for a record $5.6 million in 2001!

Now not only is she recycling but she’s also turning old hunks of junk into works of art. Jennifer Beatty, a New York based graphic designer and graduate student at the School of Visual Arts, has been taking parts from old bikes and re-imagining them into classic logos like Adidas, MTV and more. Wow, innovative and artistic at the same damn time. Chicago artist Jim Bachor decided to make his own moves on fixing Chicago’s terrible pothole problem by taking his artistic talents and bringing them to streets, literally. Bachor filled some of the city’s treacherous potholes with stone mosaics, giving the Chi something nice to look at all the while saving their cars some damage from those nasty bumps in the road. Jay Z decides to open a 40/40 club in Atlanta Airport! On Wednesday Jay Z brought his 40/40 club to the world’s busiest airport, making it the bar’s 3rd location. The sports bar is located in Concourse D and is opened to ticketed passengers at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Internatioal Airport. They are calling it the “airport version of the 40/40 club” and is due to open late fall.
