Adam “Pacman” Jones is in legal trouble yet again. This time, the Cincinnati Bengals star was arrested after allegedly getting violent at the Millennium Hotel, and then spitting on a jail staffer Tuesday morning.
Police said Jones, 33, yelled and banged on a glass door at the hotel and cursed at, pushed and poked a security guard in the eye. He also kicked the arresting officer, police said, according to WLWT.
He is also accused of spitting at a jail staffer while he was being processed. The 33-year-old cornerback was eventually booked on misdemeanor assault, disorderly conduct, and obstructing official business charges.
Jones appeared in court and seemed frustrated. The judge set his bond at $37,500.
Pacman is no stranger to legal trouble. Back in 2015, he was kicked out of a casino for disorderly conduct. In 2013, he allegedly struck a woman in a nightclub incident (he was found not guilty). In 2011, he was arrested for disorderly conduct while intoxicated and resisting arrest. In 2007, Jones was accused of starting a brawl at a Las Vegas strip club by throwing money at dancers. Two people were shot in the brawl, and though Jones was not the gunman, the victims successfully sued him for $12.5 million for his alleged role. He was also arrested in 2005 and 2006.
Jones was drafted into the NFL in 2005 by the Titans and has been with the Cincinnati Bengals since 2010.
