The Sixers didn’t win their game last night against the Lakers but everything was still all good in Philly. Sevyn Streeter was finally able to sing the National Anthem the way she should have been able to back in October but of course, the night overall belonged to Allen Iverson and his hall of fame celebration.

When Iverson was introduced to the crowd, Biggie’s “Unbelievable” dropped over the PA system and the night just felt right.
In what was billed as Iverson Hall of Fame Night at the Wells Fargo Center, the Answer was presented with his HOF jacket by fellow Sixers legend Julius Erving before addressing the live crowd.
“There has never been a relationship between a athlete and his fans like this ever. Honestly, it’s till death do us part,” Iverson said.
“Ya’ll stuck with me through my ups, my downs. Ya’ll always been the biggest support system, and it still exists today.”
If there was a poll of everyone’s favorite NBA player of all time, not just about what he did on the court, I think it’s very safe to say that Iverson would be at or near the very top over many other legends. He has always kept it so real and never changed for anyone and fans all over the country and especially in Philly will always have him on a well deserved pedestal.
