Meek Mill proved that all of his controversy didn’t actually hurt him, as his mixtape, DC4, debuted at number 3 this week on the Billboard 200. The project sold a solid 87k, coming in just two thousand units behind Jeezy’s Trap or Die 3, which was an official album with a full marketing plan. That’s impressive!

Now, seven of the songs are charting on the Billboard Hot 100, which means people are really feeling the WHOLE project and didn’t check it out just to be nosey. “Litty” with Tory Lanez is the highest at 49, while “Froze, “Offended,” “On the Regular,” “The Difference,” “Blue Notes” and “Blessed Up” are all up there as well.
Meek announced over the weekend that he will release DC4.5 “any day” now, so we’ll keep our eyes peeled for that!
