Weezy’s record label Young Money has owed producer/rapper David Banner some royalty checks for quite some time now for work he did on Lil Wayne’s Grammy winning album Tha Carter 3. At the end of the day, the judge sided with Banner.
David Banner will be getting a nice check sometime in the near future upwards of $160,000 for work he did on three Lil Wayne songs: “La La”, “P*ssy Monster”, and “Streets Is Watchin”.
According to docs obtained by TMZ, Young Money Records failed to respond in the case, so the judge entered the default of $164,303.19, which includes interest.
