Johnny Manziel is going back to college but this time without all the attention and hoopla that comes with playing big time college football. Manziel has enrolled at Texas A&M and is taking classes this summer. Sounds like a good use of his time and also a way to show NFL execs that he is getting himself together after basically being shunned by the league for good reason.

Manziel, who won the Heisman Trophy in 2012 at Texas A&M and led the Aggies to a 20-6 record in 2012 and 2013, was last on the football field in 2015 with the Cleveland Browns but was released by the team in March. As you already know, he did not sign with another team this offseason.
Manziel is listed in Texas A&M’s current student directory as a senior whose major is in recreation, parks and tourism sciences.
Enrolling back in school and working towards his degree is likely the best way to earn himself an opportunity in the NFL next season. Hopefully he won’t find a way to mess this up.
