SoRaspy, a company founded by Jadakiss, presents its show called “LIVIN LEGENDS.” In this episode, Jadakiss interviews Hall of Famer Allen Iverson.
The first question was Iverson’s top five basketball players. He named Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and was stuck on naming the fifth player. Jada asked him who he’s feeling today to which he named Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony. He says the list goes on, which is the same thing with rap.
That led Jadakiss to his second question; who’s Iverson’s top five artists? His answer was Jadakiss, The Notorious B.I.G., Redman, Tupac, and again was stuck on picking the fifth choice. He mentioned that he also likes Nas, Jay Z, Andre 3000, T.I., Jeezy, and Eminem.
Iverson is also known for his impact on the culture. He had many people wearing his iconic braids, he was covered in tattoos and refused to wear suits.
Iverson says, “I was just being me. I didn’t plan none of it, I dressed and looked like the dudes from my hood, that I grew up with. It’s a bittersweet feeling because I took an ass-whooping for it, just for being myself. But the great feeling about it is now all the young dudes now can be who they want to be, not be scared to dress and look the way they want to look.”
