Boi-1da sent out a shading tweet last night and everyone is obviously thinking it was about Tory Lanez.
The frequent Drake producer shot out:
“One dude is selling out Madison Square Garden 4 nights, and the other dude trolling for attention & record sales. There’s levels to this.”
Drake did just sell out 4 nights in a row at Madison Square Garden and Tory Lanez’ debut album I Told You is about to drop on Aug 19, plus he’s been in headlines everywhere talking about Drake. But he’s getting asked the questions about the man, do you want him to not respond?…
Boi-1da thinks T. Lanez is just trolling for attention on the internet, trying to boost those record sales. While, 1da in June tweeted his discontent with people trying to do dancehall records now like Drake with:
“If I hear one more terrible dancehall attempt of a song I’m out.” Implicating towards Tory Lanez remix of Drake’s “Controlla”, which was very well received by fans.
Then, T Lanez was just seen on Snapchat calling out Drake for not being welcome in his most notable rival, Meek Mill’s, hometown of Philly: “Real Toronto n***as out here in Philly. Unlike you, I’m good in Philly, n***a.”
All this over really nothing, Tory just wants to be “the best” in Toronto, he said it on air.
