It has not been an easy time for Iggy Azalea as of late. In the midst of trying to prepare her stalled sophomore effort and putting a big push behind her single “Team” that seems to have already lost traction, she broke up with her longtime boyfriend/fiancé, Nick Young. Not only did she have to find out that he was cheating when his teammate put him on blast, but she then found out further via security footage at their shared home, and then the icing on top – an article ONLINE revealed he was expecting another child with his ex. Sheesh!

Despite it all, the Australian import appears to be pushing through, and shared with fans yesterday a photo of her new place. “Got all the light fixtures put in my new place today and it’s starting to come together and look like home,” Iggy wrote with the picture on Instagram.

Last month, photos of items outside of her shared home with Nick sparked headlines that she’d kicked him out, but she later clarified via Twitter that it was she who was leaving. I’m happy to see she’s picking up the pieces and making lemonade out of the lemons!
