Sunday, with his appearance on CBS’ “Face The Nation” Ex Mayor Rudy Giuliana made some extremely insensitive comments. Of the comments Giuliani states that black children are violent and have a 99% chance of killing each other. He also makes some disbaraging comments about #BlackLivesMatter, calling the group “Racist” and “Unamerican”. More details after the jump.

In the past Ex New York City Mayor, Rudi Giuliani has been known to say some insensitive things. However today he may have reached a new level in notoriety for his ignorant remarks towards certain issues. When discussing the recent police protests and the social issues surrounding all the events swirling in American today the Ex Mayor was dismissive. Shifting blame solely to the black community. Giuliani stated:

“If you want to deal with this on the black side, you’ve got to teach your children to be respectful to the police, and you’ve got to teach your children that the real danger to them is not the police,”

He then went on to say:

“The real danger to them, 99 out of 100 times, is other black kids who are going to kill them,… that’s the way theyre going to die.”

He then goes on to speak on how he would parent if he were the father of an black dad. He said that he would warn his child to:

be very careful of those kids in the neighborhood and don’t get involved with them because, son, there’s a 99% chance they’re going to kill you, not the police.”

As the interview went on, so did the number of outlandishly ignorant things spewing from the mouth of the ex mayor. Some more quotes from the interview:

“When you say ‘black lives matter,’ that’s inherently racist,”

“Black lives matter, white lives matter, Asian lives matter, Hispanic lives matter. That’s anti-American and it’s racist.”

Certainly none of these statistics are anywhere close to being factual.
