The New York Knicks continue to add big names to their roster during this exciting offseason. Albeit some of them are coming off injury, it’s still exciting nonetheless for a team that’s struck out a time or two or ten (trust me I’m a fan). In addition to Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah and Courtney Lee, the Knicks has also acquired free agent Brandon Jennings.
Sources say the Knicks and Jennings have agreed to a one-year, $5 million deal.
via ESPN:
A six-year veteran, Jennings flashed brilliance in Milwaukee before enduring injury-riddled stints with the Detroit Pistons and Magic. He suffered a torn left Achilles in January 2015, and spent the last half of the 2015-16 season with the Magic, producing 20 points or more on three occasions, as well as a pair of double-digit assist outings.
Jennings has a career average of 15.5 ppg, 5.9 apg, and 2.0 rpg.
