What the….what is going on in our world of music. Tupac’s mother, Afeni Shakur, has been reported dead this morning at the age of 69. Rest in paradise.
Last night Marin County deputies responded to Shakur’s home in Sausalito, California, after she suffered a possible cardiac arrest. Although no official cause of death has been ruled, she was taken to a local hospital and passed around 10:30 p.m., last night.
Afeni is the subject of the famous Tupac song “Dear Momma”, and she was known to oversee her late son’s legacy he left behind, including the biopic, “All Eyez On Me”. Rest in peace Ms. Shakur.
