Isaiah Thomas of the Boston Celtics had himself a hell of a night. He scored a career high 42 points, en route to a 111-103 victory over the Hawks in game three of their best of seven series. Boston now finds themselves down 2-1 but just when things were looking up, the atmosphere for game four took a drastic turn as it was announced there is a chance Thomas could be suspended after he got away with smacking Dennis Schroder during the first quarter.

As you can see, Schroder was not pleased with the cheap shot and sent a little message of his own. The league is currently considering suspending Thomas, even though there was no call made by the refs at the time because they didn’t see it. While it is doubtful Thomas will be suspended, he will have nobody to blame but himself if they decide to do it.
