Playing with the Los Angeles Lakers was Lamar Odom’s greatest and happiest time in his NBA career. On Wednesday night he was back in the Staples Center after Kobe Bryant left him two courtside seats.
It was great to see Odom out and about, looking pretty good after suffering a near fatal drug overdose just a couple months ago.
Odom told reporters he was feeling good and had this to say about being back at the Staples Center, “It was awesome. I got goosebumps. ”
He also hugged and spoke with Jeanie Buss, the president and part-owner of the Lakers.
According to ESPN reporter Ramona Shelburne, Odom spent a lot of time after the game talking with Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade.
Wade said spending time with Odom made losing the game not matter “as much”.
The Lakers beat the Heat 102-100 in overtime.
