Amidst massive success, no one in hip-hop has had a tougher time being accepted than Iggy Azalea. After all the criticism from “fans”, critics, and the industry alike spanning from 2014 into 2016, Iggy comes clean and says she had to have a “psychotic breakdown” to clear her mind. Hit the jump.

Iggy is trying to sort of “redo” her image in the media, after they continuously bashed her for her style and jacking of other artist’s hip-hop elements, and she’s starting with gracing the cover of London-based fashion magazine Schön!, for which she posed topless on the cover.
The Australian MC revealed her breakdown was the real reason leading her to cancel her upcoming “Great Escape” tour and that the media took control of her:
“I had to have a psychotic breakdown last year. I felt tired and stressed out. Last year, I felt like I was definitely not in control of the media’s narrative of me.”
Her next album, Digital Distortion, is gearing for this year’s release and her new single “Team” is supposed to drop tomorrow.
