The 88th Oscars were very controversial being that there were no black nominees. Many black celebrities boycotted the award show including Spike Lee and Jada Pinkett Smith. Chris Rock hosted the award show and lets just say he did not disappoint. At the end of the 88th Oscars he invited everyone to watch the BET Awards this summer. Lol! Chris Rock did a great job hosting the 88th Oscars. He had the crowd laughing at all of his jokes and did not disappoint. At the end of the Oscars when Rock was closing out the show he invited everyone to the BET Awards and he let everyone know that black lives matter.
