Nike was quick to drop Manny Pacquiao after his comments regarding gay people being worse than animals. Now another sneaker and apparel giant, Under Armour is making it clear they have no business with him either, despite the fact he is suddenly rocking their gear.

Since Manny no longer has ties to Nike he can wear whatever he wants. He just happened to choose to wear some bright red Under Armour kicks while playing ball in the Philippines. Normally this really wouldn’t be much of a news thing but it became so when the company went out of their way to make sure everyone knew they are not in business with him.
The company issued a statement simply saying “Under Armour is not in conversation with Manny Pacquiao.”
They didn’t want anyone assuming they were doing deals together after his remarks. It was all good just a week ago for pac-man. His days appear numbered and his fight with Timothy Bradley will likely suffer as well.
