At a press conference on Friday in Waitangi, New Zealand, politician Steven Joyce was being interviewed after signing the Trans-Pacific Partnership when he took a rubber cock to the face. After the gutsy woman launched the dildo and was escorted away by security, she was quoted as saying:
“That’s for raping our sovereignty. That’s for raping our country, because of the TPP and selling away our rights and our freedom.”
(The TPP is a trade agreement between 12 Pacific countries to “promote economic growth, support the creation and retention of jobs, enhance innovation, productivity and competitiveness, raise living standards, reduce poverty in our countries, promote transparency, good governance, enhance labor and environmental protections.”) all good things.
Afterwards, Steven Joyce took light of the incident and stated to the press:
“We actually thought it was a little bit humorous at the end of it all…new experiences in politics everyday, it’s the privilege of serving.”
