Giants defensive end Jay Bromley is under investigation by police after a woman claimed he tried to rape her and then attempted to run her over with his car when he left.

Bromley interacted with the woman online and asked her to meet him at a Manhattan hotel, where he tried to rape her, police sources told the New York Daily News and New York Post.
Bromley allegedly hit the woman with his car after refusing to drive her home, according to the reports.
Officials told the Daily News and Post that the investigation is preliminary and that no charges have been filed.
The Giants are aware of the incident and will monitor things from here. They already advised the league as to what is going on.
Bromely played in all 16 games this past season and was looking forward to improving next year. We shall see how this plays out.
