“Orange is the New Black” star, Dascha Polanco, is facing assault, attempted assault and harassment charges after Michelle Cardona, 17, accused her of attacking her. Polanco’s attorneys are sure these charges will be dismissed due to Cardona’s continuous harassment.

According to Gerald Lefcourt, Polanco’s defense attorney, Cardona is only looking for a payout, and he has that evidence on an audio recording.

“This woman is trying to extort her [Polanco],” the lawyer said. “We expect that the case will ultimately be dismissed.”

“The woman involved in the case has been hanging around the building in an intimidating way, trying to taunt and provoke her, and we reported that not only to the police but to the judge,” said Lefcourt.
