Back in April, billionaire and CEO of FilmOn, Alki David signed Chief Keef, after the Chicago rapper was dropped by Interscope. Now it looks like David’s and Keef’s relationship is already coming to a quick end.

According to Alki David, Chief Keef has had his contract suspended because he went on tour without getting approval from his label. However, Alki doesn’t blame Chief Keef, but blames his management.

Chief Keef’s contract was suspended 2 weeks ago because his management went off and did a tour without our approval.

I don’t blame Keith – I blame his shady management – Keith is a fucking rap superstar.

Alki didn’t just stop at suspending Chief Keef’s contract. He also repossessed the Chicago rapper’s BMW i8.

Alki then explains how Chief Keef’s management is holding him back.

Same sh*t over and over. Limiting his appeal to a wider audience and I’m not saying he should sell out, just be more prolific.

Not going to lie, I agree with Alki 100%. Chief Keef’s career has been very stagnic of late. Dropping mixtape after mixtape, Chief Keef hasn’t been able to grow his fan base.
