The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors look to be on a crash course for a rematch in the NBA Finals. The Warriors are 14-0, dominating the Western Conference and the Cavs are 8-3 leading the Eastern Conference in the early parts of the season. While their focus is obviously on basketball, LeBron James and Draymond Green are avid sports fans and their love for college football has led to a wager.
James and Green are the subjects of Bleacher Report’s UNINTERRUPTED internet series and Friday Green posted a video showing support of his alma mater Michigan State and their 9-1 season. In the process of bleeding green, the outspoken power forward issued a person challenge to “The King” in regard’s to Michigan State’s primetime Matchup against the defending champion Ohio State Buckeyes.
James accepted Green’s challenge with equal loyalty for his squad, with a request for wine on Green’s behalf. If you didn’t know, James did not attend college, opting to take his talents to the NBA, but in his undying support for Ohio he is a Buckeye through in through, even attending the Buckeyes national championship win last year. The Buckeyes have reciprocated the love in return.
