KFC will deliver buckets of chicken in Houston and Los Angeles beginning today. This demo will eventually spread to 100 KFC locations of the nearly 4,300. Hit the jump to find out how much the delivery fee costs.

KFC will begin by only delivering buckets of chicken because they stay hot the longest. They will charge a delivery fee between $4.99 and $6.99.
Yum Brands, Inc. owns KFC. Currently they are also exploring delivery in their China restaurants. As it is, Yum Brands’ Taco Bell works with DoorDash to deliver in certain cities. Starbucks, McDonald’s and Chipotle similarly collaborate with PostMates in some cities.
Yum Brands CEO Greg Creed said delivery service usually grows faster that regular locations. So the idea of KFC delivering nationwide seems attainable.
