The couple Carlee Leifkes and Lucas Unger are from California and decided to get engaged on Halloween. The two had talked about being engaged in the past and Carlee made it known that she does not care about diamonds or anything spectacular. Her exact words were “When we’d spoken about it, I’d said that diamonds are so overrated,” Leifkes told BuzzFeed News. “My birthstone is a diamond. I don’t need one to prove how much someone loves me. He’d already moved all the way from Canada to do that!”
The two decided on a way to make this special and meaningful. Lucas reached out to his parents and had them send his wisdom tooth by mail. They took the tooth to a jeweler and let him work his magic. The jeweler transformed the tooth into a beautiful engagement ring. Although the bride to be knew of the idea it was a complete surprise until he got down on one knee to see how the ring turned out.
