Lamar Davenport, the man accused for the brutal murder of actor Morgan Freeman’s granddaughter E’Dena Hines has plead not guilty. During Tuesday’s court hearing in Manhattan, Davenport submitted his plea and revealed he’s been on psychiatric hold since her death.
Police found Davenport at the scene of the murder, on top of Hines’ body which lay in the middle of the street with the knife still in her chest. Hines suffered 25 stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
