According to the lawyers representing the company,Universal Attractions, it’s a well-known industry secret that The Game and his crew, “con as much money as they can out of innocent promoters.”
The lawsuit states that back in April, Game was scheduled, to do a concert in Cambridge, Massachusetts at Middle East Restaurant and Nightclub. He received a $10,000 deposit in exchange for agreeing to the performance. The suit reads, “The Game and his representatives rescheduled the event on numerous occasions,” adding, He “ultimately canceled the event in May 2015.”
The booking company claims the rapper refused to return the deposit. The court documents state, “The Game and his representatives failed to provide any reasons or excuse for canceling the event and not refunding the money,” adding, They “should have known that the $10,000 deposit was to be refunded if he failed to perform.”
Attorney Lowell Sidney, said, “It’s well known in the industry that this is to be expected from him, and he’s proving everyone right.”
