A few days ago a tent was erected at the back door of the hospice facility that has been housing Bobbi Kristina Brown for the past three weeks. Today we learn, that the tent was not set up due to the death of the starlet but to protect other the other families from the media circus. Friend of the Houston and Brown families, Tyler Perry is calling out the media and slamming them for what he believes is their ill wishes upon the daughter of the late Whitney Houston.

Just a few days ago it was believed that Bobbi Kristina Brown had passed away. We now know that his is not the case despite the white tent put up at the hospice facility shielding the media from the inside on-goings. A family source revealed to ET, that Bobbi Kristina is still ‘strong.’ As of Wednesday evening the source said, “She is fine, she is strong.”
Despite being strong this is not indication that Bobbi Kristina will make a full recovery. According to a hospice professional transiting from life to death is not always a quick and easy one that people believe it to be.
Jon Radulovic, a spokesperson for the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization explained that although he not involved in the care of Bobbi Kristina it is not unusual for a patient to live for weeks or a month after being taken off medications.
He said,
“Even if she had been involved in drugs, she was still a young woman, it’s an inexact science, but especially for someone who’s had more of a traumatic injury than a long debilitating illness, a lot of the functions of the body might still be in very good shape, and it might take longer for the body to naturally shut down.”
He added, “In a person who may be brain dead, it does not take much for your body to hang on. “You’re not moving or exerting any energy. The body’s slowly shutting down, but it can do that for a long time.”
Tyler Perry went on a long Facebook rant this morning slamming the media for their false reports of her death. He said,
And as difficult as this time is for the people that love both Whitney and Krissi, what makes it more egregious is the blatant disrespect, lies, and ignorance that are rapidly printed in this awful time. For some reason, it has become human nature in our society to look for, seek out, and celebrate darkness, glory in tragedy, and enjoy reading and reporting it.
The actor begged the media and fans of Whitney and ‘Krissi’ to show some respect and say prayers rather than pushing the negativity of her death into the universe. He also asked for the media to have ‘respect and decency’ for the other families who have loved ones in the hospice facility.
It makes me sad to know that everybody wants to be the first to report something awful. So much so, that they find it OK to speak death onto those who are still alive. May I ask you all to please show some decency and respect? Not only to Krissi’s family, but also to the other families that are there in this place. Not only is Krissi at the center but there are several other families who are grieving the loss of their loved ones at the same time. It’s heartbreaking to think that even in a time like this, this child is still not allowed any peace
At the end of his rant, he promised there would be an official statement released when it becomes necessary.
