Reports indicated that Rajon Rondo just agreed to leave the Mavericks and sign a one year deal for $10 million dollars with the Sacramento Kings.

Everyone knew Rondo wouldn’t be back in Dallas, but his destination was totally up in the air. The Kings were mentioned, but so were the Lakers, Knicks and a handful of other teams.

In the end Rondo only wanted a one year deal wherever he went, just to see how things go and take it from there. Suddenly if the Kings can get a solid 2 guard or shooter, combined with Demarcus Cousins, they at least have the start of something to make a little noise in the west.
