Saints Junior Galette was already going to have an issue with the NFL when he is scheduled to meet with them over an arrest from earlier this year, but this video could make things much worse for him.

In the video titled “Spring Break 2013 South Beach Brawl” a man believed to be Galette is shown hitting a woman with a belt.
The New Orleans Times-Picayune reported on Saturday that not only is Galette one of the men in the video, but the NFL is aware of the video’s existence and knows that Galette was involved in the melee.
According to ESPN.com, the Saints are the ones who actually sent the video to the NFL. Strange thing is Galette’s lawyer is adamantly denying his client is the one in the video.
The video was posted to YouTube in March 2013, but at the time, no one in the video had been identified.
The man the Times-Picayune identifies as Galette is wearing a white shirt, white shorts and white shoes in the video. Now I’m not defending anyone at the moment, but given how chaotic the scene is in the video, it’s hard to tell if the man appearing to be Galette is even the aggressor, or is he just defending himself.
Yes it does show him slapping a couple women with a belt but it seemed to be in response to something. Also towards the end of the video, Galette appears to come running back into things to help someone who was being jumped and outnumbered. With no context to go along with the clip it is very hard to tell who is in the wrong and who was trying to defends themselves.
Galette was arrested earlier this year for reportedly throwing a woman to the ground at his home, so his track record with violence towards women isn’t exactly pristine, but we need to hold comment on this video.
