A man from Fort Lee, New Jersey is accused of being a supporter of the ISIS terrorist group.
A Samuel Rahamin Topaz 21 out of Fort Lee, NJ was arrested at his home yesterday by the FBI, who according to the U.S Attorney is suspected of supporting acts of terrorism that are related to the ISIS terrorist group which have for quite some time now been reaching out to Americans to join their terrorist group and carry out ISIS related activities. In reference to a criminal complaint, Mr Topaz had allegedly conferred along with others from New Jersey and New York to help and provide services in which the terrorist group needed.
The other co-conspirators who were also linked to the ISIS group are also from the Tri-State area, One was a resident of Rutherford, New Jersey that fled the country on May 5th in order to join the ISIS terrorist group. Another was from Queens, New York and was arrested on June 13th and was charged with terrorism. The third was also a New Jersey resident but prosecutors have not released any info on what part of NJ he or she was from.
Topaz has since appeared in Newark Federal Court yesterday afternoon to face charges and was not allowed bail.
