In Austin Texas , a man who has yet to be identified, called police in the early morning and said he planned on committing suicide by setting himself on fire inside of a car. Police arrived at a Stassney Food Mart Off interstate 35 at around 2 O’clock in the morning to see him very calmly stroll outside his car in the parking lot.

The Two Police officers asked him to come over to them but instead he rushed into the drivers seat of his car and as the police tried to rescue him, the man set himself on fire and caused the car to explode. It was also all caught on tape. The explosion knocked over the one officer and blew the man out of his car. As the man attempted to climb back inside, only to hop right back out screaming in pain while being burned as police officers tried to help him out.

The two police officers only suffer minor burns on there arms, and both were released on Tuesday, but the man is still in the hospital with very serious burns. Police sources said he is probably going to face charges for first-degree felony arson since his suicide attempt injured others. Though it remains unclear hoe he started the fire. Investigations believe that he could have possibly covered himself in gasoline. Though that is very possible it has yet to be officially confirmed.
