The ever-growing trend of having a huge ass is becoming more and more of a problem. Stars like Khloe Kardashian and Nicki Minaj make the trend seem appealing to so many woman but in some cases these injections have resulted in death. A woman from Philly who is the self proclaimed “Michelangelo of buttocks injections” was sentenced Thursday and is facing 10 to 20 years in prison. She killed one woman and injured another by giving them doses of illegal silicone injections.
Padge-Victoria Windslowe testified in court that she believed that her butt injections were safe. She had no-known medical training. Windslowe who also goes by Black Madame stated she did not know the dangers of the silicone. In a statement put out by her lawyer, Windslowe continued to give injections even after the death of one of her clients.
The judge threw out the claim, saying that Windslowe was a ‘heavy internet user’ and that the federal ban on silicone injections is not hard to find. The FDA banned injection of silicone liquid in 1991.
Windslowe was convicted of third-degree murder in the death of 20 year-old Claudia Aderotimi. She was a British dancer who came to Philadelphia from London to have the procedure done in an airport hotel. According to the autopsy report the silicone traveled through her bloodstream and damaged her heart, lungs, and brain. She was dead only hours after the procedure.
