Bobby Shmurda has been behind bars for about 6 months now. Things don’t seem to be going too well for the rapper as he was recently involved in a jail house brawl.
According to TMZ, law enforcement sources placed Bobby at the center of a brawl on April 15th at the Otis Bantum Correctional Center in Rikers. The Brooklyn emcee along with four other inmates who identify as Crip, got into a scuffle with two Blood gang members. Bobby Shmurda seems to have held his own as reports highlighted that his quick hands and powerful punches dominated the fight. The brawl was eventually broken up by guards using a chemical similar to pepper spray.
This was a tough crowd as the other inmates involved are in Rikers facing charges of either burglary, murder, sodomy or kidnapping.
Bobby Shmurda is currently awaiting trial after being indicted on conspiracy charges. Hopefully things will begin to look up for the rapper soon.
