Kelly Rowland was the featured performer this past Mother’s Day weekend at the Magpie Nest Housing Project in Melbourne, Australia. The special concert was put together by the charity-based organization, and ended up raising a whopping $800,000 for them, which will go toward homeless families, helping to place all the necessary supports around a resident to increase the possibility of them addressing their issues and moving forward with their lives.

“I was delighted to support a program that provides housing for the people of Melbourne without homes,” Kelly said of the effort. It’s always nice to hear things like this!
