After Atlanta went on a 17-0 run to bring themselves within three late in the fourth quarter; the Washington Wizards still escaped defeat by the hands of none other than “The Truth” Paul Pierce.
With 14 seconds left in the fourth quarter, tied 101-101, Paul Pierce s an incredible buzzer beating shot over 3 defenders to give the Wizards the victory. Paul Pierce aka “The Truth” is well known for his clutch shots and ability to come through under pressure.
It’s well documented that Paul Pierce feels what he did tonight is the reason he came to the team. To give a group of young guys veteran experience and be their closer is pivotal points in the game.
