Brooklyn man caught transporting drugs in New Jersey!
New Jersey State Police busted Samuel Bompane, 22, from Brooklyn earlier today. He was caught with 80 pounds of marijuana candy in his car and $35,000 in cash. Bompane was speeding in Brick Township, when police attempted to pull over Bompane’s Nissan Altima but failed. Bompane entered a construction zone and drove along the shoulder before crashing into another car driven by a 42-year-old woman.
State police said they found a “plethora of different drugs” valued at more than $100,000 that included 80 pounds of marijuana candy, more than 10 pounds of marijuana, hashish oil, prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia including scales, currency counters, plastic bags and smoking pipes.
According to police, Bompane was under the influence at the time of the crash, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated assault with a vehicle, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, cocaine, mushrooms, and hashish oil and possession of ecstasy. Bompane bail is set at $750,000.
