In addition to a failing (failed) mental state, Nick Gordon’s physical health is also at a low point in life. The boyfriend (not husband) to Bobbi Kristina Brown appeared on a disturbing episode of Dr. Phil. The interview gone intervention showcased Gordon’s usually secretive drug-induced state of Xanax and a drinking habit. He had to be lifted up off the ground as a result of his high. These actions forced Dr. Phil to offer his help in the medical field. The 25-year-old has since made the decision to enter into rehab – Willingway Hospital in Statesboro, Georgia.

It’s now being said that had he not gone to rehab, his life could have been over sooner rather than later.

Details after the jump.

During the Dr. Phil intervention, Gordon had stated, “My kidneys hurt so bad.” Gordon may have been telling the truth, because now, sources are saying, “His kidneys were going into failure. He would have been hospitalized if Dr. Phil had waited another day.” Apparently, his drink of choice is whiskey, and he’s had a hefty amount prior to the filming of the talk show. Despite failing kidneys, some are saying things for the young adult “looks promising,” but others are saying he’s doing the most.

Jack Walker Jr., Nick’s stepfather and common-law husband to Michelle Gordon says, he’s “out of control.”

“[Him] not wanting to go forward because he’s hurt so bad… It’s hard for him each day. He doesn’t know if he can make it another day, said Jack to Access Hollywood. He also added that he “fears for his son life.” Nick is reportedly unable to come to terms with Bobbi’s condition and according to Jack if Bobbi “does not survive” then it might have an adverse effect on Nick.

At least he’s sticking it out. Quitting should not be an option in this family.
